Can you summarize the Goal Setting process?

Goal Setting simply must be SMART.

S= specific
M= measurable
A= achievable
R= realistic
T= time

And there is a long term goal and the small steps goal in achieving the final goal. For eg. Mastering a language in 2 years time. Daily goal would be to learn 5 words a day. Converse simple sentence in two months… etc.
