“Lousy”, is one word most people would use to describe life. "Miserável", é uma palavra a maioria das pessoas iria usar para descrever a vida. People who experience failure often tend to take another look at their personality and see it in a different manner. As pessoas que muitas vezes falha experiência tendem a reconsiderarem a sua personalidade e vê-la de uma maneira diferente. People tend to magnify their mistakes and believe that these failures have more impact in their lives than what they have experienced. As pessoas tendem a ampliar seus erros e acreditamos que estas falhas têm mais impacto nas suas vidas do que aquilo que foram submetidos. This attitude is a very human characteristic. Esta atitude é uma característica muito humana.

One proof of this, can be seen in the way we take a look at a dot in a piece of paper. Uma prova disso, pode ser visto na forma como se de uma olhada em um ponto em um pedaço de papel. What does this mean? O que isso significa? Well, let’s say that you have a piece of perfectly white paper in your hand. Pois bem, digamos que você tem um pedaço de papel branco perfeitamente em sua mão. It is immaculately white, but when you drip a spot of ink on it, you tend to see it for the spot. É immaculately branco, mas quando você gota um pouco de tinta sobre ele, você tendem a vê-lo para o local. You tend to forget about the rest of the paper which remains white and focus on the spot. Você tende a esquecer-se sobre o resto do papel que continua a ser branca e concentrar-se no local. In your mind, the spot becomes the paper. Em sua mente, o local passa a ser o papel.
