How many times have you written a reminder to yourself? When you think about it, people write self motivation messages all the time. Some people put up posters on their cubicles to motivate them to keep on working.
Images are also great tools for self motivation. People often make use of pictures to motivate themselves to do things. Have you ever since the picture of the three monkeys depicting ¡°See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil¡±? That is one form of a picture made for self motivation. Some workers put up pictures of successful people to signify a goal that they want to reach. By looking at a picture which bears a deep message, a person can easily attain self motivation.
Visualization is one of the best self motivation tools. Whenever you visualize the result of your desire within your mind you have great chances of achieving it. If you truly want to achieve your desire, you must visualize it and hold it in your mind all the time.
The greatest way to achieve 100% self motivation is to identify your true heart desires. Once you know it, you¡¯ll have it. As if your heart truly knows what you want, your mind can be mistaken, but your heart never¡¦ Identify it, and you¡¯ll have no doubt, it is what you want!

your post is very informative. i like the part about using writing for motivation. writing something down offers clarity about what you actually want to do. when you re read what you wrote you can also evalute it. evaluting it can help you see if you are motivated by what is important to you as opposed to someone else¡¯s goals, ideas, etc.
